I made the drawing using charcoal on my pre-gessoed canvas.
I am working on the background with very diluted acrylics in citrus colors. I am diluting the paint in water so I can get some textures and drips.

Starting to paint with local colors, in a semi translucent way, so the layers underneath will be still visible.
Working on the background wall
The elements are painted in local colors but the painting need more contrast and colors. So I am adding a few highlights in the contours with acrylic paint.

The colors in the dresser against that yellow wall make me think of a view in early morning sunlight. Nice touch with that red broken line around the vase or pot. Fun!
