Painting over life drawings with mixed media
I don’t know about you but time seems to fly when I am in life drawing class and I have only so much time to draw contours and shade, it is difficult to also add paint.

A while ago, I wrote a post about a technique I like to use when reworking my life drawings. You can read about it here: Organized chaos : Reworking life drawings in mixed media
I worked on a new series using the same technique.
I started by selecting some of the life drawings I wanted to use:

After brushing on a layer of clear gesso, I started adding Indian ink to the drawings.
